silver dome, constructed with 10-foot triangular aluminum sections,
in the heart of Lynchburg. Beneath the dome is one of the largest
on-campus basketball arenas in the state of Virginia.

events as graduation, convocation and concerts. From 1995 to 1998,
the Big South Conference held its annual tournament at The Vines
Center. Attendance at the tournament has been as high as 8,343
for mens games and 5,117 for womens games. The Vines
Center also has hosted National Basketball Association exhibition
games, the Harlem Globetrotters and high school tournaments.

Libertys athletic facilities include a 12,000-seat football
stadium, a 4,000-seat gymnasium, a 1,800-seat baseball stadium
that was named Diamond of the Year by Sportsturf magazine,
an outdoor track, a 1,000-seat softball facility, and a beautiful
Bermuda grass soccer field.
